Legoland. The core of our planned trip.

 "Mommy, AT AT fall down!"

Leia and Wicket having a moment in the forest.

Legomen build with legos. That might be the ultimate.

We were at Legoland on (our dog) Chewbacca's birthday, May 10. This one was for him. And for Ian.

They even portray the balding tourist with dark socks(with a hole in the toe!) and sandals sitting on the bench.

Legos built over a real car frame. The boys enjoyed Volvo Driving School.

 Jurassic Park? No just Legos.

Are we back in the Safari Park? Nope...more legos.

Soren decided he needed some self portraits...

And he took this nice photo of Bjorn chillin' at the end of our day.

Odin took this  picture of me...and the goofy one of me and Soren below.

Replica of the Capital Building...over 300,000 legos.

Some perspective on the scale of these builds.

The Cheetah run. WOW.

Every Cheetah at the Safari Park has a dog companion. This is Hopper. He keeps Amari (the cheetah) calm and confidant. Here Hopper is running first over the 100yards in about 9 seconds.

This is Amari running. She gets up to 40miles an hour in the FIRST THREE STEPS of her run. She then reaches 60-70miles/hour before slowing down with her power slide at the end. She finished in 5.5seconds. Go ahead. Watch it again.

At the Safari Park...the pictures speak for themselves.

The athletes Amari(cheetah) and Hopper(dog) after their run.

Odin thought the cheetah run was AMAZING!

Pretty cat.

This was taken from about 100 yards away.

"Why does the elephant have 5 legs?"

"Meet the Wallaby."

The Wallaby thought Soren smelled good.

So cute.

One of my favorite pictures of the whole trip.

Post-zoo

This is after the zoo. Much fun was had by all. The Pandas were worn out.

Polar bears are big. I love their paws.

San Diego ZOO!

I took an early morning course and met the boys at the zoo. It was a GREAT day with our little pandas. Much fun was had by all.

The flamingos put on a show for us.

The polar bear exhibit was really fun.

 These are BIG bears.

 I loved the Gibbons.

The Gorillas were great to see, but only thr statues were photogenic.

The boys liked comparing their digits to the impressions of the gorillas' hands and feet.

This is a Mandarin Duck. I thought he was beautiful!

This is a gigantic Koi...almost as big as Soren. The turtle off the left flank was the size of a dessert plate.

A video from the tram--a convenient way to traverse the most topographic zoo we have ever been to. Some of the hills were steep!

Here is a view of the gorillas in a brief moment of movement.

A rare sighting of a swimming Odin in its unnatural habitat of the Hard Rock Hotel Pool.

Soren was trying to impress the ladies with his pull-ups.
