Happiness at the Fredrick Meijer Gardens

There is a great sculpture park in GR...

Odin loves the dragons!

Everyone loves the horse designed by Leonardo Di Vinci

And Ian and Katie love the Oberon from Bell's Brewery.

A whole lot o' Schwab Love

Odin is really sweet with Soren...

Grandad Schwab loves his grandsons, too.

Is this where Soren gets his double chin? :)

Family Photos!

Three Generations of Schwab Boys!

More Schwabs!

"One at a time"

"One at a time." had been my motto when people asked me if I wanted to have a third child after Odin and Soren. We still need time to figure this out.
This phrase takes on new meaning after our trip to Michigan. We had the pleasure of visiting two dear girlfriends of mine that have started their families in the last few years.
One family has TRIPLETs that are Odin's age. The other family has TWINS that are a month older than Soren. They are beautiful children. Their mothers know nothing other than 3 and 2 at a time.
Phew...I am thankful to have one at a time.

Addison, Ella, and Jacob Sanford are awesome! Their mother, Tracie (Bunting) Sanford should be very proud of them!

Jacob. Sweet boy!
Addison is the doll-baby of the group.

Ella will be outgoing like her mother.

And then there is Marisha...her amazing body held 14 lbs of babies plus their gear. Miles was 8lbs and Bobby was 6lbs+. These boys are allowed to attend any college they choose, but wouldn't it be great if they all were at Kenyon? And swam? They could be a great 200 Freestyle relay in 2028. :)

Travel to Michigan

Taking the Red-eye flight was good for the kids... they slept almost the whole time. Ian and I didn't sleep much.

Nap time at my parent's house. Note: Ian was so tired, he didn't notice Soren spit up n him.

Last Day of School

So there was a "work BBQ" and a few beers-later the bet was on. "Who could wear the most ridiculous out fit on the last day?" Here are a few of the contestants... I think I won, cause kids just "avoided me", but Sarah's roller derby outfit was a hit too.  Darla was in the spirit too!
